Mimicry is inherited

This noted already Charles Darwin in his book "expression of emotions in people and animals", that left in 1872, but only now Israeli scientists proved that the mimicry of the members of one family has 80- percent similarity.

The group of scientists under the management of the professor of the khayfskogo university Of eviatara of the Nevas studied the special features of the expression of faces of people blind from the generation, whose mimicry does not depend on environment.

Neva and its colleagues conducted interview with the participation of 21 blind and 30 their relatives, who did not suffer blindness. Respondents they asked to recall about any events, which caused the specific emotions, and reaction was written on video. Then the obtained expressions of the persons systematized and subjected to statistical analysis.

It was explained that the expression of faces of blind people coincided with the mimicry of their relatives in 80% of cases with the reaction to the identical situation.

Since the results of a study showed that the mimicry can be transferred by the inheritance, scientists intend to find the genes, critical for its special features.
