Scientists compared the brain of man with the computer

Researchers from the university of Colorado came to the unexpected conclusion: some parts of the brain of man, which correspond for the cognitive process, function approximately just as computer.

A computer use the electronic switches, which direct signals. The same operating principle use frontal parts and basal nucleus of brain, in which the role of switches carry out the neurons.

However, as reports Washington ProFile, the "komp'yuteropodobnye" parts of the human brain make it possible not only to accumulate and to process information, but also to carry out there are many other functions - for example to make decisions, to operate with abstract symbols and so forth, etc.
