The use of anabolic steroids is connected with the anti-social behavior, for example, by the illegal possession of weapons and of swindle. Are such the results of the Swedish study, published on Tuesday, on 7 November.

In this case the researchers note that were somewhat astonished, after revealing that those, who use steroids, not more than those, who do not come running to the anabolics, were inclined to such heavy crimes as murders and attacks.

Researchers studied dependence between steroids - which, as it was proven earlier, cause the flashes of impulsiveness and aggressiveness, sometimes named "steroid fury", and by criminal behavior. During the work were examined only those cases, when steroids started without the order of doctor.

"obtained by us data indicate that the use of anabolic steroids is connected not only with the impulsive anti-social behavior, but also with the antisocial means of life, which leads to the accomplishment of different crimes", notes doctor fia Klots from university Uppsala to Sweden.

Completely the results of a study will be published in periodical Archives of General Psychiatry.
